COVID19 Assistance to Croatian Public Health Sector

In 2021, the U.S. Government donated vital medical equipment and supplies to support the Croatian public health care system’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. One $600,000 project provided highly needed diagnostic and testing equipment to the Fran Mihaljevic Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Zagreb, as well as respirators to the Ministry of Health. This  lifesaving equipment assisted patients with the most severe forms of COVID-19 and enabled accurate and rapid testing at a critical stage of the pandemic.
