Landmine and Explosive Remnants of War Survey and Clearance

This project successfully cleared 329,934 square meters of land previously contaminated with explosive remnants of war. As a result of U.S. assistance, this land was released back to the people of Croatia for productive use.

The United States Government donated more than $30 million in Croatia in support of humanitarian demining. These funds have resulted in the clearance of over 3,500 landmines and other unexploded ordnances in Croatia.
